Chronology

1978 : Mrs. Doina Cociorvei agreed to join the largest machine tools manufacturer in Romania (IMUAB) in order to sustain the export-import activity development ( marketing activity, negotiating and settling contracts, planning, strategies, statistics, customs, transport, service , guarantee and post-guarantee monitoring). Responsible for import activities.

1991: Together with good friends and collaborator Doina Cociorvei founded a private company specialized in dealing abroad machine-tools and components. Challenging the acquisition of the old plant she worked in, as Import-Export Director, Doina Cociorvei developed good projects and relations by banking, financing and state institutions and experts. Main achievements are 6mil. Euro / year (annual average increase of 120%), and administrating the main machine tools plant in Romania privatization project, as well as  coordinating the re-technology project of the new plant.

1998: Agreeing the proposal of her professor in International Business Management from the Economics Academy, Doina Cociorvei accepted the position of Managing Director in the National Council of Private Small and Medium Enterprises In Romania, the unique national representative of SME s, a non-profit, non-governmental, private employers’ organization. 35 employees by headquarter in Bucharest and 170 all around Romania, more than 60,000 companies members and 65 branches all around the country, member of European and international SME-s structures, this private employers’ organization was developed , and administrated in order to strengthen its position and to diversify services for members (legal, business opportunities, financing projects, international relationships, events and public relations, social dialogue with state institutions and trade unions). By achievements there are the 2 years Business Support Program project, projects of promoting, training and financing services for members, coordinating seminars, forums, conferences, round tables all around Romania and Europe, the biggest one being the annually Private Companies Top , by 1400 participants and under the President of Romania patronage each year. Founder member of National Institute of SME s.

2002: Discovering the real employer spirit she developed all the past years, Doina Cociorvei decided to come back on the business market, this time as free-lancer and by her self business in consultancy. Expert in financing from banks, state and private funds, EU programs, as well as in business development she became the consultant of important foreign companies interested in Romania. By developing large and multi-industrial networks of experts, she assisted companies to study Romania and to penetrate by its market. Main industries : IT, energy, real estate, plastics, buildings, infrastructure, wood, agriculture, a.s.o. Main achievements: assisting more than 200 companies, consultancy by financing projects of more than 100 companies, assisting the foundation of more than 30 joint-ventures, organizing 24 economic missions in Europe, and Romania assisting business companies, community and associations in organization and making fruitful the respective events. Diversifying and growing the business in consultancy, Doina Cociorvei created large networks of collaborators and experts in banking, insurance, legal, tax, business development areas. This period Doina Cociorvei became an expert in business and HR management (hotel and tourism industry, events industry) in PR and mass communication as well as in training. 

2005: Doina Cociorvei started the collaboration with Hypovereinsbank (HVB), by developing an important direct sales force network all around Romania in order to educate the population and valorize an important national project. The same year, started the collaboration with American International Group (AIG), strengthening the support for the Romanian population as regards financial instruments by medium and long term periods. 

2006: Taking into consideration the large development of her consultancy activity, Doina Cociorvei decided together with Mrs. Olivia Enachescu to create International MAX Consultants a group of companies and experts specialized in business development.
